Flocking

To show the distinctive effect that even a regular paperback with flaps can have, we proposed the publisher – quirky as we are sometimes – to add a transparent flocking on the napkin shown on the bookcase (which also should express a sleeping pillow). And… the result is really great!
In this case, a semi-transparent flocking was chosen, with the blue text ‘knocked out’. You also can choose to apply a transparent flocking (partly) over a dark coloured text or printed area, as this will create a particularly vague effect.
