Offset-printing on the open-spine of a book

Printing the spine title in offset on open-spine books, is not possible, is it? It is possible with us! Not by use of ink-jet or screen printing (an expensive and printrun depending option), but by using a by us developed software-application. The spine title is placed at exactly the right position on the printing sheets of the book block. ‘Playing around’ with the colour of the sewing thread will give it a beautiful finishing touch! Each ‘sewing-stripe’ can be chosen in a different colour. Such a binding style allows for a maximum opening of the book. Who won’t say yes to this?
